Caterham De Dion Axle Hub Shims *
Manufactured from precision laser cut stainless steel, use of the dpr motorsport shims is a unique engineering solution to ensure highly accurate set-up of toe and camber settings for the rear hubs on De Dion axle Caterhams.
These shims have been designed by us based on our experience with Caterham race set-up. As well as being essential for accurate race car set-up these shims are ideal where the use of slick tyres requires a rear camber change. The camber shims (shown top & bottom) can be quickly replaced at the circuit to allow for different track conditions or tyre changes. The holes in the toe shims ensure that these shims remain in their required location during the camber change.
The DPR shim set should be sufficient for most alignment situations. These shims can be ordered stand alone or we can use these as part of a full flat-floor set-up. Unlike the use of alloy can material, these shims enable the set-up to be correct first time and will not distort with use.
